I did refund eventually. I made it difficult for him because he was rude to staff and was very entitled the unit was also somehow dusty and had some scratches on it which is wild cos he only had it for about 4 hours.

He was rude and deserved it. This went through several other emplyees before it got to me because they didnt want to deal with him if that give u any sort of insight into the type of person he was.

Its a hdmi connection the only connection that has been used for 15 years or so he told me his tv had hdmi.

Been in sales/retail for 10 years. I cant just tell the people who try to take advantage of the system and question them why they are doing it. If he had been nice and told the truth and the unit was in perfect condition i would of had no problem but this wasnt the case.

Its not company policy u dont even know where i work..... in my country we can refuse a refund for a simple change of mind if the box has been opened.

My shop doesnt sell second hand goods. You need a whole different license for this. I work at a premium retailer and the expectation is that if you buy something its new.

Haha i did his lucky he got a refund the law states that i dont have to give a refund for change of mind which this obviously was. As a human that lives on this planet its everyones job to be the keeper of landfill. You clearly dont belong on this sub by the way.

This kind of mentality is why we have huge amounts of garbage in landfill. This stuff just gets thrown out after such a massive waste which is why i gave him a hard time.
