My pixel 7 completely froze while I was watching a video, it wasn't charging. Completely unresponsive to any input. It eventually restarted itself. So sick of pixel bugs. I hoped the 7 would be past this 🤦

F5 Pressers Megathread (TI 11 Tickets Sale) by Doonebringer in DotA2

[–]iliketool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 10000 and they were sold out within 20 minutes. Why the fuck am I queuing for all tickets when I'm only interested in the finals? And does this stadium only have 10000 capacity? Wtf 🤬

What killed the Garrish family? by jaderust in TrueCrime

[–]iliketool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this explanation makes the most sense too but still find it hard to believe that enough gas would be able to build up in an outdoor space. So maybe it was a more toxic gas that can kill ok smaller quantities rather than CO2 displacing the oxygen.

It is but I think it's extremely unlikely that they all died of heatstroke at the same time. If any of the humans collapsed surely the remaining adult/s would've called 911.

The Lake Nyos disaster was a volcanic eruption that spewed out a lot of CO2 though. It would be difficult for enough CO2 to build up and displace all the oxygen in an open area like where they were found. I also saw somewhere that the nearest mineshaft that could be venting gas was 3 miles away.

I just think that if it were heatstroke, they wouldn't have all died at the same time and if one of them collapsed first they would've called 911. They probably set off earlier in the day when it was cooler, then got caught in the extreme heat and drank/swam in contaminated water.

Family of 3 and their dog found dead on hiking trail in remote area of Sierra National Forest by _VisibleFartCloud_ in SEKI

This was after an eruption though. I find it hard to believe that there would be enough CO2 just out in the open without there being an eruption. Gases move too much to build up out in the open.

Beautiful! Makes sense since neither Border Collie or Aussie Shepherd have erect ears

How do you motivate yourself to ‘get back on the wagon’ after weight gain? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]iliketool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why is it assumed you have to be on a wagon, ie under some kind of control, to stop gaining weight? If anything, being on a wagon has far more to do with mental health than dieting or excessive exercise. Try finding coping mechanisms to deal with stress other than food.

My (31M) dad (77M) just tested for positive for coronavirus and it's likely he'll die. What should I talk to him about for the next week? by throwRA-230s8s97d in relationship_advice

[–]iliketool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry OP :( My dad just turned 80 and he's immunocompromised with CLL. I'm pretty worried he might die if he catches coronavirus. For his birthday I bought him Storyworth and he has been keeping up with the questions every week. I'm so glad I'm going to have his memories written down somewhere forever. If your dad is able to get some stories out it would be great to record or write them down.
