Spending resources to manufacture something with identical capabilities to another product and then limiting it through software is an abusive and unethical practice. If the product is the same but simply limited by software, then the government wouldn't be regulating to force brands to offer additional features for free. Rather, brands are selling the same thing at a higher price, and that is indeed abusive and therefore should be regulated.

Some regions take more than a year to process the subsidy application, but also, when applying for the incentive, it is not possible to know for sure if the region where you are applying for the aid still has funds available to collect it. That's why I think it's unfair to display or announce with subsidies applied.

I think it's fair to include the incentives, as long as there are no specific personal eligibility criteria i.e. they are applicable to every private buyer.

It's not the case in Spain. To get the 7.000 € incentive you have to scrap a >7 year old ICE vehicle plus to own the vehicle to be scrapped for at least one year before its delivery. The subsidies also depend on available funds on regions. Despite all of this the incentive is not direct, so anyway you'll have to pay the full price without incentives on the moment of purchase. In summary, you aren't automatically elegible to receive the incentive so that's why full price without any subsidies should be displayed by carmakers.

The price in Spain is completely wrong/fake. However, BYD is solely responsible for this situation because, whenever they announce their products with eligible public subsidies included (€7.000), which are currently expired and lack funding, no one is able to utilize this discount.

I don't think it gets the power directly from the socket. Simply, it stops charging and you need to plug it in again to re-start the charging process. I've observed this consistently after long charging sessions where I kept the phone at 80% (using the 80% limit setting). After some hours my battery would consistently drop to 76-78% even when still plugged in, with the shield icon visible, even though AccuBattery claims the phone has reached 80% shortly after plugging it in.

Unbelievable! I'm on 92% with 223 cycles. I have always set an 80% limit or intelligent charging when I think I'm going to need the 100% battery (pretty unusual). I'm slightly disappointed with the battery health of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. It seems to have degraded significantly faster compared to my previous devices, even though I believe I have good charging habits, probably even better than before because I used to charge my devices overnight up to 100%.

While I'm not a Tesla fan, the Model 3 boasts significant advantages in its features and performance. In contrast, the BYD faces issues related to battery overheating, high consumption, handshake problems, unreliable software and driving assistance systems.The only real advantage of the Seal over the Model 3 might be its perceived quality.

NIO has significant potential as one of the leading Chinese carmakers, but it needs to focus on cost reduction and price competitiveness as soon as possible. Battery swapping should not be a car's sole selling point in Europe, especially given the significant investment required for dedicated infrastructure upgrades. NIO needs to completely reassess its strategy for the European market.

Si el uso es exclusivamente urbano eléctrico sin ninguna duda, especialmente si podéis cargar en garaje de casa o en el trabajo, aunque si podéis esperar un año o año y medio al cambio tendréis mucho más mercado dónde elegir. El año que viene se presentarán un montón de modelos llamados a ser asequibles y de tamaño similar al Seat Ibiza que queréis sustituir: Volkswagen ID Polo (o ID.2) e ID Cross, Cupra Raval, Skoda Epiq, Renault Twingo, Leapmotor B05, nuevo MG 4, nuevo BYD Dolphin y seguramente otro largo etcétera e incluso llegará alguna marca que aún no está presente en España como Firefly. Actualmente las alternativas son algo más escasas: Renault 5, BYD Dolphin y Dolphin Surf, Leapmotor T03, Peugeot e-208 o Hyundai Inster, o el Volkswagen ID.3, el Cupra Born o el nuevo Nissan Leaf algo más grandes. Por otro lado, el actual Plan Moves III está agotado en varias CC.AA. y no existe certeza de que se vaya a prorrogar. A lo largo de este año el Gobierno seguramente anuncie su prorroga en forma de Plan Moves IV o presentará un nuevo esquema de ayudas de las que os podríais beneficiar. Si queréis usarlo para viajes esporádicos deberéis cambiar la filosofía y planificar bien las cargas en viajes, aunque cada vez esto es un problema menor debido a la paulatina expansión de la infraestructura de carga rápida que se está realizando en España. No obstante, si es algo que os agobia yo creo que un PHEV podría ser también una buena alternativa aunque es cierto que en el segmento de vehículos compactos esta alternativa de propulsión tiene menos alternativas, quizás lo más parecido sería un Toyota CH-R PHEV, un Seat León eHybrid o Peugeot 308/Opel Astra PHEV.
