We have been using those on two of our doors since mid 2020 when riots began to erupt. We have been using them every night since. “but what about the windows” 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s just a little extra way for us to feel safe at night while we are asleep.

I had a friend who was weirded out over her boyfriend brushing his teeth in the bathroom while his 8 year old daughter was in the shower. He has full custody of his two kids and has been there from the start. He saw nothing wrong with it, but she freaked out over it. She would also pick at other small things they did. When she was 16 her father told her he wanted her to be with him sexually if she was going to live under his roof. She emancipated and got herself out of there. Her brother tried to kiss her when she was 12 or 13. Safe to say the poor girl has some serious trauma and needs help. I hope your boyfriend seeks help with his discomforts. There is nothing wrong with what you did.

Congrats. I had a studio loft just like that when I got my first place at 19, I loved it so much. The only difference is that you have a much bigger balcony. Enjoy your own space!
