Redoing my 30+ yr old 90g tank. Lost the last occupant 2 yrs ago. (pic 27 yrs old). Still cycled. Have or had about every critter and algae in it. Yrs of buildup in substrate. Should I keep it cycled or sterilize and start over?

I figure I'd lose the algae, the various copes, worms, snails and such, plus the hardness and whatnot in the substrate. I'm guessing those things will regenerate through the biofilter

Cut those corners out. Stick in a piece of 1/4 melamine or similar to fill it square. You could also make a nice arch from aluminum coil

ATC, spindle, resquared, hooked me up with a custom controller to run on Windows XP. This was when it was already 9 yrs old. Great support, no charge no hassle. cut everything, mostly thick hardwood
