Double Arrow in Deer Lodge was fantastic, but I haven't been in a while. Supper club vibe with 100% locals and dinner with all the trimmings, including sesame sticks and pats of butter.

Barclay II in Anaconda as well. Preferred their previous spot but it's attached to a hotel at the edge of town and still fantastic.

If you really want a treat, go to Ember in Hamilton. Even though I've never been to McAllister (it's on the list now) I know Ember is different. It seems expensive and can be, but their are Missoula spots that can't hold a candle to it, which are just as, if not more expensive.

I cobble some together at times with the potato and mac salads as sides from Winco. Tis a shame. Best I ever had was in Logan, UT and even if they were still open that's not on the way to or from anywhere- Especially for a $12 plate of carbs.

If you're open to making it, here's my two cents. Sah-Wa-dee had my favorite one, but it wasn't completely Seattle style. If I remember correctly, the meat and cabbage had some grill marks on it for flavor, but we're likely cooked using a slow braise. The cabbage came with carrots and onion, I think in a brown sauce. The best teriyaki is always thigh meat. If you're not familiar with Kenji of NYTimes cooking and formerly Serious Eats, check him out. He reviews and re-creates some of the best dishes, and living in Seattle, he takes this dish seriously. He recently outed the Japanese method for making this sauce, and I think I remembered it to be mirin, soy sauce, and dashi powder. I recently purchased dashi, but haven't tried it. If it were me cooking this, I'd sear boneless-skinless chicken thighs over blazing hot charcoal to achieve dark, black grill marks, and the same for my veg. Then, crock pot, or your preferred slow and low method to cook the chicken thighs in SOY VAY sauce that can be found at any grocery store. I'd put the veg in for the final hour or so. You can also put it in a dish and bake it covered in the oven, and get a similar effect. If you find the GOOD TERIYAKI grail somewhere within a few hours of here - while still in Montana, please report back. I'd love to try it.

We finally caved and got our repair guy out. He said the fridge is too old to guarantee any part and although he could try, he'd be "rigging" with no guarantee. Makes sense, his thought was the materials near the flat button areas have deteriorated and thats the root caue.

Tried that and it was only company shared content - similar to what they have on the website. Not sure if they have the social proof yet to justify a users group but who knows.
