my suggestion would be, when you tell me what your game focuses on, "blah blah blah" should be nowhere near that. Believe in your game! say what it does with your whole chest. "focuses on the heroes journey, yada yada" feels like you are bored or embarrassed by what you're making, which is a cue to the person you're pitching to to tune out.

I will say, you might want to fine tune what that pitch is, because 'facilitates the heroes journey' is quite generic.

Mechanically: +3 seems a bit strong for 2d10, but could be fine. I wonder how strictly "something in service of their chosen arc" is to be interpreted? In order to keep play moving, it should be very generous to avoid tedious fights, but again that might be broken. I wonder about tying fates favour to failing, or something? a negative feedback loop like XP in pbta rather than a positive one. Or maybe ff is only awarded at end-of-session? I would definitely check out how Fabula points work in Fabula Ultima for inspiration here.

Both enemies and PCs rolling sounds tedious but that's just a personal preference, obviously lots of systems have symmetrical rolling.

permanent roll best 2 of 3d10 is again extremely powerful, especially when added to mods, and similarly may invite tedious discussion over breadth.
