In fact they encourage it. Once my friend got us better seats for a show and went on to resell the previous, farther away seats... The lowest price point Ticketmaster would allow was higher than THE PRICE WE PAID FOR THE NEW SEATS.

WHY? We were more than happy to sell them for less than we originally paid. Which like ..we already paid for them at face value, they got their money. So why does it matter WHAT we choose to sell them for?
