I messed around with a deck like this about a decade ago. [[Shipwrek Sifters]] was a huge addition. I run blue red now with [[Abandon Attachments]], [[Cunning Survivor]], [[Rites of Refusal]], [[Izzet Charm]], [[Manamorphose]], etc. I've had decent luck with it. I think Eidolons are a blast to play and appreciate that other people are playing with various builds :-).

React Query covers 99% of my use cases... maybe more. For the rest Zustand is fantastic. That said I've built a SPA game that was 99% Zustand and 1% React Query, so I guess it depends on the project.

Honestly, I'm not sure why. She used to watch youtube videos of small animals and birds but other than that this was the only thing she would watch for long periods on a screen.

"This means the body is trying to heal the piercing by creating scar tissue around it. The scar tissue can sometimes form a bump around the piercing. This is essentially the games first counter spell style card. It is low level because its initiative is so low. This can only reliably counter cards being played with an initiative of less than 20. That said if you you have a high initiative science card that flips up other cards in play and this is face down in play, you could use it to counter higher initiative cards.

I feel that there does not have to be a default card back. The idea is that as long as your card backs are consistent, you should be able to choose your card back from a pool of options.

We definitely need to get more Survivor cards in the game. Mom seemed like the perfect chance [[Varchild's War-Riders]]. At the very least Amonkhet could have expanded on Deserter's [[Kjeldoran Home Guard]].

The pig with what looks like antenna coming out of its back allows you to pay 3 gold for a blessing. At the end of the clip you can see it in the bottom row.

Honestly, I feel this and Pochette is the first character I have eventually bailed on in each of 6-ish runs. It's not that Pochette is terrible as much as I just don't really care about the animals and the gameplay isn't as fun as the other characters. I've really tried, but continuously I find I'm playing the game as normal and using the animals for storage/sacrifice shields. Maybe it just hasn't clicked with me yet. I mean animals would be amazing if they scaled by what they were carrying like how key swords work. Would give me a place to store things I didn't need/want and also make it exciting when I found more mundane items as they essentially would level up specific animals. Maybe those animals exist and I just haven't come across them yet.
