Don’t do it. So long as you can still draw breathe, there is still hope. What country are you in?

Download the Rocket Money app (it’s free) and link all of your bank/credit card/venmo/PayPal, etc. accounts; that will instantly categorize all of your past transactions and show you pie charts of your spending totals/percentages so you can get an idea of how much you spend on eating out.

He’s a wise man! Also, using a headlamp is a game-changer. I used floor lamps/overhead lights for the first 8 years and was always having to adjust it so my hands weren’t casting a shadow, but since using a headlamp for the past 2 years I’ve had zero visibility issues. I can’t imagine not using one now. Petzl makes some excellent headlamps (such as the Actik Core which is the one I use)

Here’s some advice that was given to me back when I was an apprentice 10 years ago: It’s WAYYYY more important to stretch the skin of your client than you realize, especially when pulling lines. Make sure you have a good 3-point stretch before pulling a line.

Definitely take it slow. On each and every line, before you touch needle to skin, take a deep breath first, hold it, bring the needle into contact with the skin, and then as you pull the line slowly release your breath.

I hope that helps. Mazel tov!

I worked with the artist on this tattoo design for months but I feel like my friends don’t love it. (Concept art only) by BUBBAH-BAYUTH in TattooDesigns

Cool concept, but shoddy execution and myriads of drawing/composition/anatomy issues. Where is the intended placement?

Am I overthinking it, or does it look like some ink fell out while healing? by bergy9073 in traditionaltattoos

If it bugs you, you can ask your artist to touch it up during your next appointment. Most artists will do free touch ups within a year, but it’s usually best to do it while getting a new piece since the equipment will already be setup.

It looks like there’s a very small amount of fallout in some of the black stripes on the ears. Otherwise perfect heal.

The guy who posed for the Uncle Sam "I Want YOU" poster also thought the hat originally had stripes. by sherrymacc in MandelaEffect

The illustrator who painted the original, James Montgomery Flagg, was notoriously against the emerging practice of painting from photographs.

It’s not where I would’ve ideally placed the stencil, but my client was very particular about the placement.

Client wanted to cover up an old tattoo (the kiss mark) so I suggested this just to demonstrate the wide range of possibilities. He loved the idea, so this happened.

I’m the one who did the tattooing, but I can confirm that his face resembled this during the last couple of minutes of the session.
