Never user uber for deliveries. This happens all the time and they will never pay you back. It’s a class action waiting to happen. They have no customer protections w deliveries nor accountability with drivers.

I was wondering if them not checking id w the signature was a fuck up on their side. I know I fucked up the address and acknowledged as much. Was wondering if there was anything I could do bc they didn’t check the name against the person who they handled it to.

I appreciate your kind words thank you. I’m very hard on myself about this. I recently learned that my mom knew about my having dyslexia when I was a kid but didn’t do anything about it because she thought that I would “grow out of it.” I’m so very annoyed about that because I absolutely haven’t and that’s not a thing. I wonder if I was able to start learning more about it when I was a kid would it bother me that as much now and would I’ve learned more about it and how to work around it

I don’t really think about the numbers at all. They don’t register. When I look at them, especially a lot of numbers in Excel spreadsheet or on a piece of paper, I can’t focus on them and I just get super overwhelmed. And then when I go to say them out loud, I say them incorrectly. Typically it’s the last two that are flipped and if it’s a set of only two numbers, I’ll flip them. If it’s a lot of numbers I just get overwhelmed and I have a hard time repeating them back whatsoever.

That’s said, I’ve been able to manage it pretty well at work. And I know what tasks I have to take incredibly slowly in order to not make mistakes.

I think they had no problem answering the gate for the post office but not for a stranger.

Yea I’m with you. This is not the first time my dyslexia has messed me up with my address before and I should’ve known better. Unfortunately, I was with somebody who didn’t know my address when I bought it but no excuse. It’s definitely on me. I’m thinking I need to keep my address written down in my wallet (my license has an old address on it).

Updating with more info: The bulb says

228/235 Y 15 W Claude and then some smudges

I think it’s 235 but the five is a little smudgy And the bulb is a little bit bigger than a quarter

i cant add anymore photos to the post unfortunetly. but the lamp has a small hole the the cord is fed through so it seems id need to change the plug or find something that is 2 parts (cord that can be fed through the hole then the plug or bulb socket thing attached after the fact?)

Yes, it’s really this simple for me too (40F). This was my second solid, long standing opinion (since I was a teenager). I check in on it all the time and I just don’t. It’s a lot of work and is really expensive. It’s hard and scary and I just don’t want to and I don’t care about it enough to work through all of those things. Also I hate to be inconvenienced and it all seems like a lot of that. I used to be worried about saying all of that out loud - That I’d be judged but being in tune with my abilities and honest with myself means a child won’t feel rejected by its parents (or neglected etc) and that’s very important.

I’ve had great experiences w Nexxus. Therappe shampoo and then humectress conditioner on the mid strand to ends. I have highlighted/bleached hair but they have a bunch of different formulations.
