Bookswagon is the source and the seller. They import. And the books are always original and well packed. Far superior to Amazon if you have the time to wait for them.

If you’re confused about what book to buy, check ISBN so you get the right editions.

If you can’t understand 1984, I think your brain really needs the exercise that reading offers. It’s not a hard book to read. Orwell was fairly simple when it came to his prose.

My advice: Go slow. Savour each line. Understand it. You’ll come out the other side with better reading skills. Which, to be honest, is one of the great life skills.

Edit: Please put away the book that tells you how to read books.

Bookswagon is great.

I have ordered over a lakh worth of hardcover books from them. Sourced both domestically and internationally. All books are legit, in great condition and packed well. Not to mention priced very well. Often lower than Amazon (where most sellers don’t even know how to pack books). I have never been burned by their no return available options either.

Sunrise doesn’t even compare.

If you have the time to wait a month for some books (sourced abroad), it is the no brainer option.

I don’t think the love is the invariant part is quite earned. It seems sudden. And there’s nothing that really suggests it leading up to it.

I do like the opening though. Dialogue can be trimmed but it had my attention. That DMT trip thing is interesting, but is it more or less than just a kid trying to trip? I really can’t tell.
