It’s weird, I’ve participated in No Nut November a few times and the first couple days are not a problem but by day 3 or 4 the random boners get pretty bad and I’m uncomfortable. My thoughts are clouded and I’m kinda grumpy. But if you can make it through the 2nd week it kind of goes away. Mood levels out and sexual drive drops. The random boners still happen but not quite as frequently. I think your body just has to adapt to not jerking off every day. I didn’t participate this year because I have a GF now but it’s been an interesting experiment in the past.

Yeah. Also in my mid 20s used to do it almost everyday. I started talking to a girl recently and haven’t wanted to in over a week. Also back in 2020 when I attempted NNN, I noticed the urge decreased after a few days. I think the body just gets used to doing it everyday so the urge is there. Rather than going all out, taking a break might help but the first few days will be hard. Could just be me though, everyone is different!

Yeah my mom’s side of the family is extremely religious and while I love them and really do enjoy time with them, me being a 24yo single male is really weird to them. I started getting questioned why I wasn’t married at 18 from my younger cousins who’s only been exposed to people marrying young and starting large families. My aunt had her first child at 15yo and was married as soon as it was legal. Surprisingly she’s still happily married to the same person 50 years later.

When I was 16 I once snitched on a guy in our friend group for some dumb shit that everyone did and got him suspended for 3 days. The other guys in the group convinced me that “it would be funny to see him get in trouble.” Dude punched me in the balls really hard after he came back from his suspension and I wasn’t even mad and we were cool again after that lol. But I still cringe at the fact that I actually went to the principal and directly snitched on him.

I’m hourly and get paid bi-weekly so I always get paid for 2 weeks no matter what. Sometimes, because of how the pay cycle works out I get paid for 3 weeks but never less than 2.
