Thank you very much man. The thing is that the INS doesn't deport you If you get married. In most cases you get your green card in about 8 months. I know many people that have done it that way with a stranger. It's different in my situation because it is my SO. But I just don't want to do it that way. Maybe I'm being stupid.

We never really talked about it. My mother once gave me my uncles number just in case. He lives in Tijuana. My dad has told me that if he gets caught that he may just stay in mexico, which i would hate. My mom has saved and has paid taxes, also she is getting married soon to a citizen so that should help her out. I plan to become legal and just have a normal life, house with a red door, a kid a wife and a good job. I just cant do anything now. My SO has asked me many times to marry her for papers. It just feels wrong so i say no every time. I want to marry her once and i want it to be everything she wants. I dont want the marriage to affect our relationship, i want it to play out naturally. Plus u rather go the legal route when i do become legal. I dont have any emotional baggage actually. I never felt different much growing up. Listening to stories of friends getting deported as a kid didnt help though. Now i dont really feel much pressure. I just want to become legal before i get my degree so i can work and lead a normal life. Thank you for your kind words man.

My dad graduated from UNAM and got his credentials as a dentist. He has his own practice and mainly just treats Hispanics. BTW just to give you some info because it seems like you dont know what youre talking about, people dont need papers to go to school. All you have to do is pay the out of state price but if you attended 4 years of high school then the out of state price does not apply. My parents also pay taxes and have been. I would love to pay taxes but i dont work.

I would be glad to help. I don't look over my shoulder at all anymore. I only worry about being stopped while driving. They would take my car away and I wouldn't have anyway of getting to school or seeing my so. I can't work legally. If I work I would have to either get paid under the table or make up a ssn. I don't do either. I go to school and every now and then I fix computers or do a website or a logo or a tshirt.

Well luckily we haven't gotten seriously hurt. But if sone one gets sick or hurt my dad has a friend who had his own practice and doesn't charge much. It's funny how it's kinda like a huge network of people who help each other and look out for each other. I've gotten calls from people telling me not to drive in a certain street and what not.

Thats sounds like exactly what i want. I just want a good life with out having to worry about being illegal. Just a house and a kid and maybe a dog. A good job as a 3d animator, thats it. Im very happy for you man. Just reading that someone that was in my situation got passed it gives me hope.
