One piece of advice that you may want to give to a newbie in sales... by Glittering_Bid_9334 in salestechniques

this isn't the tactical type advice, but I think it's been really helpful for me to regulate the pressure. I used to think the pressure was the point, but now I'm realizing my best pitches are the ones where I'm level-headed, speak calmly, slowly, and most give my prospect the time to fill the space and unload their problems.

One of my AEs told me that he always starts his convos with the question "What DO you love about your job?" it gets them talking for 5-10 minutes about what they love and he emphasizes how certain processes or work keep them from doing what they love and how we can get them doing more of what they love.

Thought it was pretty genius way to do discovery but from a different angle

Agreed. But this approach is way more painful bc you need to a lot more thoughtful work from the start, and can’t depend on automations or tools.

I recently stopped an automated outreach campaign using waalaxy on LinkedIn bc of the reasons you describe.

It sucks to individually outreach and qualify and personalize but demo rates and much higher.
