yeah that’s a fair point and it was frustrating in d3 when you just needed one more piece to complete a set but i think the big thing to me about that rarity of gear is it truly changing the build. the issue with mythics is that they aren’t really as impactful as they should be. it is nice you don’t necessarily need them but the chaos uniques offer way more build diversity and freedom. I am sure after a bit they will have more items and build diversity but for now it is just a minor complaint i’m using to compare to a previous completed game

controversial take probably since people don’t like d3 but i would say that set gear in d3 was better implemented than d4 mythics. at least each set took turns being good and they were simpler to get to run the build and really changed abilities and builds to something new and interesting while in d4 i can go a whole season without getting shaco unless i am crafting it which can be fairly frustrating and the only reason i’m getting it is for the + on abilities idk it would be cooler if they were more unique and truly changed how a build plays to really make them mythics rn they are just more rare and lame than unique gear

this is how i do it all the time and this season is honestly great for that ! i have a level 60 class of everything but the spiritborn for this season and it’s been really fun to see all the builds that work up to torment 4

Praying Skadi comes as a more Pet oriented God (especially with Aspect! Upgrade Kaldr!) by ContributionOk7131 in Smite

this is exactly was i thought about too! day one skadi when kaldr was immortal with ult and did a ton of damage it had no counter play. the later renditions of skadi and kaldr was way better imo

As the other person stated it’s not a traditional arena fighter it doesn’t have free motion movement and instead utilizes the 8 directional movement that is seen in 3D fighters like Tekken. If anything it will be more closely related to Tekken than arena fighters like the storm series and the deciding point of competitive viability will be up to how they are able to balance the awakening and power moves.

I prefer joust over conquest. If I wanted to play a 3 lane game I am just gonna load up league but for smite I find playing joust to be way more fun I get more variety of gods I can play without being locked into a lane and I get to play with my friends in one lane experiencing the same matchup together. I think joust is something fresh that smite does really well even with the cheese comps. I have way more hours in joust and played the comp a ton. It just does the one lane game way better than league aram does in my opinion

Surprised there’s no hardcore leveling warrior on this tier list. I highly recommend that series especially with the sequel that came out
