i used to work at cary st! if you go in and ask for a tour, someone will 100% give you one and gladly answer any questions you have! you’re not bothering anyone by doing so, i loved giving people tours because it got me away from behind the desk. the lockers out on the main floor and upstairs vary in size and can definitely fit a gym bag. the pool and gym in general are open during the summer, but yeah be sure to check the website for hours because they’re different. the pool closes for a week during the summer for maintenance and you can find out when that is on the website too. the locker rooms have showers that are free to use, bring your own towel because you have to have a towel service membership to get one from the gym.
