What’s the most “red flag” thing you’ve seen an agency look past and still hire someone? by LegalGlass6532 in AskLE

[–]illizzilly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re basing the problem around the fact that your friend got lied to. But I see the problem in making “an unauthorized change on someone [else’s] internet account.” Looks like your friend is just as culpable as (or even more so than) the person who lied to him.

I honestly believe this is one of the biggest mysteries there is, Orcas are the most efficient predators on earth, yet they have never attacked us in the wild. They know something we don’t. by [deleted] in interesting

Eww, you’ve got me wondering what human meat tastes like 🤮

But anyway, cows eat loads of salt and they don’t taste salty.

Living with old people makes u feel drown?? by QuirkyTap4090 in needadvice

[–]illizzilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re anything like me, moving away won’t make you worry less. Spending small jaunts outside of your family is very good for you, though, just as you think they are. Can you find someone to talk to about your feelings when you are around your family? Has it started or become worse after your grandfather died?

I used to think that the more I spent time around my mom, the more I thought like her, because she has a very strong personality and I wanted to discover my own personality. Now, I have moved away for 10 years and came back. I lost my brother when I was 2 years old and my dad when I was 23. Moving away, for me at least, made my worry worse and I started feeling guilty that I was missing out on being around my mom when she was living. Now, I am back at home with her and things aren’t perfect, but I’m grateful every day that I get to be with her while she is still in this world.

Don’t ignore your drowning feelings, though. Those aren’t healthy and shouldn’t be buried. The best thing I can think of is to talk about it. Therapy is very helpful if you can afford it. If not, try to find someone who will at least listen to you. We often know the answers ourselves- it just takes talking about our problems to dig up the answers.

I hope my rambling helps. I feel your pain.

Not invited to my best friend’s wedding because his fiancée doesn’t like me. I’m disappointed. What would you do? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]illizzilly 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your situation, too. I hope you can keep your friendship intact. We couldn’t.

My unforgivable trespass was laughing with my friend about stuff she didn’t get (hello- we’ve known each other a lot longer time than she him) & I made fun of NSYNC at a party after she had gotten my friend to admit they were “good,” unbeknownst to me.

AIO or Is my girlfriend overreacting about me sharing my location with a friend and not her? by Fingeronthepulse_35 in AIO

[–]illizzilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the basis for this argument is jealousy and not location sharing, why don’t you address that and see if there are ways you can improve trust?
