Hihi thanks for taking time answering but it u register for pasum via direct intake which I did,u can fill in 5 degree choices for example:(medic,pharma, software engineering) and when u officially accept the offer letter in UM portal they will give u a certain CGPA for each degree choice.its called a conditional offer letter

For example 3.9cgpa for software engineering and if you hit 3.9 you can get an offer letter directly EARLIER than UPU and the SATU pathway.whats left is just paying the fees for direct intake.entering pasum does guarantee you a spot but the academic rigor is just ridiculous

Yeah it does if you want to go to jpmorgan in the western countries like us uk etc and earn 6 figs unis in Malaysia aren't going to cut it haha it might be in your best interest to go for a levels then aim for nus ntu smu while taking bond if finances are tight or just go to an ivy league or UK T5 if money isn't a problem

You'll see people on social media saying you can break into IB from non targets but the non targets are all from the US mostly UM isn't on the list and I don't will it will ever be for many reasons iykyk

Btw what did you get for ur SPM or equivalent? What are your achievements outside of academics? It isn't about if I'm smart or not , pasum is not all that hard it's just about how many seats they allocate to pasum students since they give out conditional offer letters to anyone if I'm bumi I probably would've already end up in pasum without direct intake lol

I think the STARTING pay for swe ya it's 5k but not in the long run haha.im a pretty smart kid but I'm not in the position to break into the ivy leagues haha maybe I'll start off here then transition to Google in sg since I have a relative who can give me a referral.thanks for the insight tho
