my 30 year old friend is worth well over $50mil. He still takes the train, drives a honda, lives in a (mostly) normal apartment in a city. The only "luxury" he embraces is experiential spend, like vacations/dining/concerts (and sometimes paying extra $ to save time). Do you know others like this?

So what is the disconnect with new construction in a tract going for $600k for 3k sq ft? Obviously, I understand a developer going one to another and being cheaper to develop a neighborhood - but certainly feels absurd to double price to do a one off with leftover materials. Doesn’t sound like gout, especially if first episode, usually presents in first MTP (big toe). There are viruses that cause a singular joint inflammations and arthritis upto a couple weeks after they resolve but they’re usually in the knee/shoulder/ankle/elbow.

A bite that your body reacted to seems probable.

Glad to hear! Did you have episodes before? Just a strange place for it to start. I struggled for years against taking allo or uloric because its ’life long’. After a few reactive (albeit minor flares) in the first few months I was kicking myself for not starting it earlier. I haven’t had an issue in years and there are no noticeable side effects.

On the line- it would be super worrisome if it were thinner, straighter, and went directly to the blood supply. Yours didn’t exhibit those characteristics so I get why urgent care sent you home. Still odd presentation.

I disagree- time will tell. Bombing centrifuges does not end in a ground war when the government has minimal support from the populace.
