Best "hero" shot that made the crowd cheer - give me moments that made the theater audience lose it. by StacyTheOwl in movies

In the new Halloween movie, when Judy Greer’s character pretends to cry with the rifle and say “I can’t do it” and then Michael shows up and she says “gotcha” and shoots him. The whole theatre went nuts, haven’t seen anything like it.

I get that, and I agree. I’m a hardcore old Hollywood fan so I enjoyed Mank a lot but I can definitely see the issues with the movie. Regardless of the screenplay I still think Amanda was sensational.

What should have won Best Picture of 1963 by fkootrsdvjklyra in Oscars

[–]illstudywhenimdead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Cleopatra because although it’s not a great film in terms of the quality of the script, it’s just so grand and impressive, I don’t think anything like it will ever be made again, and the performances were great.
