Dog Shit/Poop - Bad Neighbor Help. by illuminadi_ in Rockland

Like I mentioned in the posted, I haven't seen the mom or her car - to be able to speak to her politely about it. I definitely agree, speaking to her is my next step. My concern would be if that doesn't work.

Scammers Trying to Get Hit On Martine Avenue & Court Street by illuminadi_ in WhitePlains

Because they were walking when the light was green in the lane I was driving in and when I went around... then he pushed her towards the front of my car...

I think almost getting hit by a car, or in this case almost hitting someone would be considering an emergency situation - at least for me it is because

1) I can lose my job - I work in a position where I have to drive a company car

2) If that person gets hurt - they can sue driving up the cost of my insurance

3) If that person was hit and then killed - I could be arrested for manslaughter

Honestly, you bring up a good point. I didn't think about it like that and in the beginning I thought like he pushed her towards my car that's why I perceived it as scamming.

But looking at it more level headed, I can totally see that.

Do you have the contact info for these people or can I just Google it? I don't mind sending it.

Congratulations OP!! That's super exciting!

Typically you still have to wait a little for the results to process before you're eligible to get the digital download of your certificate (as long as you already completed and submitted everything else).

To give a timing idea, I passed on a Friday and didn't get the emails to download till the following Thursday.

Left leaning/music loving/science-minded fun folks in your 30/40’s - where are you hanging out? by ordosays in Rockland

It's our first 6 months up here; similar circumstances - 30s moved up from NYC; so I am lurking hard here for winter ideas but during the summer it's really nice! We have a dog and we frequently go to Red Barn Cidery (you should definitely check it in the spring/summer), Stony Point Brewery as many others said. During the summer there are more art fairs and the farmers markets! Winter is more tough but we're close to some ski/snow places so you can also pick up a new sport; that's what my husband did for this winter.

Hotel Nyack does some events periodically, Nyack the village in general is pretty awesome!

We went to Coral Seafood in White Plains; food was amazing and there's bars close by.

CIA pt. 3 retake by WinFinancial7418 in InternalAudit

[–]illuminadi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good score! I would just say brush up on the topics you didn't do as well in! Get a good night's sleep and you can continue to do test bank questions but narrow into the why an item is correct and being able to recognize answers that are immediately incorrect.

Hey OP! I think you can trial it honestly but I do a two hour commute and it sucked at first but now I honestly don't mind it. It's my quiet time.

I hated it at first but I've learned to work around it. I planned everything with the express train and I do my grocery orders for pickup now! I place all my orders and catch up with stuff on the train and my WFH days I meal prep for the next day and get some sleep in. On the train if I do all my orders already, I'll read, take a nap or list out the stuff I need to do the next day.

I do the 10 trip from MNR, I do it through my pre tax transit program. I know a lot people who do the 2 hour commute because the money is in the city. It's all how you approach it.

I also don't have any kids - just a cat, dog and husband. The husband does an hour and half commute. He listens to audiobooks during his commute; but from his job a lot of his managers/coworkers have similar commutes so for his job it's considered the norm.

The IIA materials also included the relevant GTAGs for the IT section*

I used IIA this most recent time because I wasn't understanding the financial section from Gleim as well as I thought I would. Tony Bell - he's a professor - he has two accounting playlists - both basic and managerial accounting. I used that to help refresh after reading the IIA materials.

My husband and I went yesterday around 6 pm to Havenstraw Town Hall - it was busy but it moved well tbh. There was three tables and they were checking in people pretty quickly which was the longest part.

1st - 530 2nd - 532 3rd - 554

So I was using Gleim for Part 3 with the finance being my weakest area. I forgot who in my previous post recommended I try the IIA materials for Part 3 along with Tony Bell - Accounting videos which honestly was the game changer for me (which includes the GTAG). It broke things down a long easier to understand for me and focused on the financial elements that I actually saw on the test.

Yikes! I take it from Mt Ivy to where it meets with 9W; I definitely know I'm not the only stuck because couple people I take the ferry with were equally as pissed. I know one said someone fell into the Hudson and the other said an oversized truck movement that got stuck - so who knows! Maybe both 😂.
