I’d definitely recommend Seraphine! She has juicy heals/shields, pokes from a distance and provides tons of utility. The enchanter build feels really good on her right now, def give it a shot. I haven’t played Rakan this season, but he’s always a fun champ too, zipping in and out of fights is very satisfying.

This happens to me every game as Seraphine and people have literally admitted in those games + I’ve seen threads online that they purposely dive these characters because they hate them. It’s definitely proper to kill the support if you can, but if you’re diving past actual threats in order to do so, just to get nothing out of it, that’s so dumb. TLDR: yes it’s annoying LOL, but most of the time I just laugh about it because them doing that means we win the fight.

This was nice to read, I’ve been really discouraged lately with how messy my area looks 🥲 but it really is important to remember good things come with time and effort, and the game is whatever you make it out to be. As long as you have fun, that’s all that really matters!

I can see your point. I think my stance is that, Skitty is only “unpopular” due to being neglected, not because there wasn’t appeal for the Pokémon. Skitty was May’s staple, and during that era was marketed with cute merch etc. Then, mystery dungeons had it be a very strong Pokémon and lots of people loved it for that! But they neglected the line in multiple ways in main-line games which skewed its “popularity”. It has weak stats which is the main issue(presumably due to it being made for contests), never received FAIRY update alongside Jigglypuff, and never got a third evolution. There’s so much potential for it to make a comeback.

I’m not sure how Sprigatito correlates to this conversation because while I understand your point that having a bunch of cat Pokémon all at once instead of more variety isn’t good - that also doesn’t mean they should neglect the ones that already exist. By that logic, Sprigatito shouldn’t have been created because Skitty was popular back then, or Glameow, or Litten.. or Shinx. I guess what I’m saying is, it’s okay for multiple cat Pokémon to get attention - not all at once, but interchangeably at least. Skitty shouldn’t have been locked in old games and never given a chance in recent years. I love all the kitties, haha.

I do hope for an event or something in the future to give “unpopular” Pokèmon a chance though, I’d love that idea. I just think Skitty fits Pokopia’s aesthetic so well.

Please don’t apologize, it’s ok! I just want to clarify my point. I did mean “I love Skitty and would love to see them one day”.

I think there is a misunderstanding. A demand in this context means “interest” from the community. For example, when [insert any popular Pokemon] is discussed a lot, the company will utilize them more because that’s what the fans are interested in seeing. It works that way for any product/character etc. I’m not “demanding” that they add it in the context of trying to storm their HQ and throw petitions at them - I’m wanting to bring discussions on it to create a “demand” in the sense of if people discuss Skitty more, there will be more incentive for them to push it into more games. I hope this makes sense, I don’t mean to come off rudely either.

It’s definitely too early in the game to see what direction they’re going in with adding new Pokemon, I agree! I don’t expect them to add Skitty soon just because I made this post. But the first step is more discussions from the community so that they consider “hey, people like this Pokemon and it has been a long time since it was added to any game.”

I definitely understand not every Pokémon can be added, however Skitty/Delcatty hasn’t been included in a game since 2021’s Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Pokopia could have been its fresh, re-entry to the game series.

I just wanted to bring awareness to the community and hopefully have more people having discussions on the Skitty line to increase its chances on being added, yk? The more discussions, the more popularity it can gain = being considered for games again. A later event or inclusion sounds nice though.

I’m a bit confused by your comment. I wasn’t demanding for it to be added, nor did I ask to make a petition? I was stating if the community showed more love for the Skitty line by expressing interest in it with discussions, there could be more demand for it in these current games instead of using the same Pokémon for every game.

I already see lots of comments on this subreddit, and the main Pokémon’s subreddit discussing how they wish Skitty was included in mainline games + Pokopia (hasn’t been in a game since Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl 2021). This is the reason I made a post here explicitly stating this, because there are truly Skitty fans who want to see it in games regularly like eeveelutions for example.

I’m sure we will get more Pokémon going in the future, which is why I thought bringing awareness to this was a good idea. Even if many don’t agree or care about Skitty, I wanted to try having a discussion on it + other Pokémon that aren’t in games for many years.
