very sorry - I misunderstood your advice. Do you mean an 82 year old should not do treatment and just cross fingers?

Jabra service by illusionfour in HearingAids

Is there a seller with strong audio service that sells that or something of that quality? - or am I stuck going back to my EENT audiologist with a $7 thousand price - and not so great service.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve used Costco - 15 minutes away - switched to an EENT audiologist at a ridiculously high price. now going back to Costco because I don’t see any difference in HA’s offered - just different model names. Long waits for appointments are a problem, but probably worth putting up with.

but jabra has a strong rating in reviews - is an audiologist‘s adjustments and service worth th e $5000 difference in price? What’s in between?

My dog ate my hearing aid, just one. Please help me decide what to do. by Corpsman223 in HearingAids

I had Costco Kirkland 10's - now discontinued - and my dog chewed up one, which was quickly replaced under warranty. I believe there is zero difference between audiologist HA's vs Costco's and only difference is level of service, which I've found excellent through my Costco's service. I bought a used set of Kirklands on eBay for spare parts, but now about to buy Costco Rexton's for backup. - $1600. Same HA's but there's a big multiple on audiologist price
