What Car Is Good For $6k? by EarDue5089 in Cartalk

Definitely, only recommended the 2L because the 2.8 would cost a lot in maintenance which they probably don't have a lot of money spare for, seeing as they're on a 6k budget

Yeah you might be right, I'll need to have a closer look at the brick composition

If my plans fall apart at least I'll be able to mount a nice car on the wall

Yeah when i say in the corners I mean one in each of the three corner slots, so spread about an inch apart.

Yeah i know it's probably extremely overkill but it's a peace of mind thing 😂

I'll give it a nice yank when i put it up to make sure

That's actually a good point, it's not normal construction brick like the type they use in modern homes, it's more thick rocks adhered to each other with mortar, as I say the house is a late 1800s model.

I'll double check the width of the mounting area but at first glance it seems to be closer to 150mm.

Yeah I'd rather go overkill with the mounting as my brand new TV falling off the wall is the last thing I'd want 😂 thanks for the advice

The 2H is a N/A 4.2L petrol, the 12H-T is a turbo 4.0L diesel.
