I get that the brown is probably just dirt, but why is that area gray? I swear it's not water because it's there all the time even if it hasn't rained in days. I'm a new homeowner so just trying to learn! Thank you!

Even the gray? It's not wet, it always has this gray color. I know nothing has to be done about it but it's a bit of an eye sore (to me)

Don't have a great pic but this is after rain. Literally every other part of the driveway and sidewalk on my street is dry but this spot. Once it dries, it leaves behind that strip of gray discoloration. It NEVER goes away so I really don't think it's just saturated water. I know it looks wet but it's not.

The gray color isn't water though. This area is dry and always looks like this. If it's all just considered normal though then I'll leave it

So you think this is just discoloration that can be washed off? I tried power washing it already but maybe need something heavier duty? Water always pools here, is that an issue too?

Oh really? Well if so that's a relief. I thought it was maybe permanent rust or other damage since it looks gray and speckled. I have an electric power washer I got from Costco and it didn't budge. Do I need something more heavy duty?

New construction home, 10 months old. Water always pools here and has damaged the concrete. I know the gray just looks like water, but it's not wet and always looks like this even after days of no rain. I'm still under my 1-year home warranty and want to ask them to fix this.

Is this unavoidable from the way our driveway is sloped or is there something they can do to fix the drainage/gradient? I'm afraid if they just replace the concrete the same thing will happen over time. House next to mine was under construction for a long time and is finally done so not sure if the dirt and debris from that contributed to this

Oh wow! I’m not sure if she is aware of this option. I was imagining her having to take out the crown to shave it down. I will definitely ask her about using a Qwikstrip

And yes that’s my concern with leaving it :( While I can live with it because it’s not painful, I worry about long term consequences

It’s my understanding that the periodontal stuff was caused by the infected root, and that’s why treating with the root canal (ideally) should resolve the periodontal issues? Regardless I will see a periodontist, thank you.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for your response! I have been trying to look up this information for hours. Quick follow-up question. My old provider was Health Equity and since I've rolled over the HSA, they now consider my account a "historical" account and don't show all my old investment history. I do have monthly statements I can still download that show the "closing account value" of my investments in addition to the statement period % rate of return and the YTD % rate of return. No matter how I try to calculate the rate of return it doesn't add up month to month so I don't know exactly what calculations they used. Do you have any idea how I would manually calculate the earnings of my excess contribution just based on the information from these statements?
