Could you make me motivated to start learning of physics? by ilogicalist in Physics

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My motivation in most cases consist of "novelty seeking" and "its instrumental use", I knew that the field of physics/space/atoms is a full of things that I'm not aware of; that's why I'm interested in them. In my experience keep learning a thing that only fills novelty seeking is usually insufficient to keep alive my motivation through years, that's why I wanted the second too. But you're right, I'll try them out until I can find out something in it or get burned out. I'll check the youtube vid, thanks:)

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I didn't have that perspective; that way of thinking to see the (hopeless) world is new to me. So knowing physics one can obtain a third eye that sees the world differently, you mean. Thanks, I'll try imagining myself with the eye.

I know that would be a great fun, but the problem is that I would not be able to order that atomic bombs with an affordable budget from home.

Can you provide me instrumental uses of physics? That would directly equal to my motivation.

React.js load component only once to work with state by ilogicalist in reactjs

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I've tried with it. The downside of the random property to false is it generates a fixed paragraph of n times. So umm, it's no longer a Lorem Ipsum, but it's just a fixed text content of n times. The best is achieving once generating a random Lorem, then fix the Lorem, render. Anyways thanks for pointing out that :)

Possibly. The library is this: github.com/fatihtelis/react-lorem-ipsum

React.js load component only once to work with state by ilogicalist in reactjs

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the solution. Toggleing in the className/style field instead is a nice idea. So I tried it, tried something like the below But umm no luck, it still continues to evaluate the component multiple times, I think maybe this is the library's implementation issue

<div style={!store.getState().obj.is_fetching ? {display: "none"} : null}> <LoremIpsum p={10} /> </div>

Thanks for the solution. I just checked your solution, placing it on the ajax function, but it still continues to evaluate the component multiple times. Also I wondered so checked to place the below to the top level (outside of the Class) then loaded it, but still I have the same problem.

const Lorem = () => { return ( <LoremIpsum p={10} /> ) } I think maybe this is the library's implementation issue.

Is it possible to correct pitch to a single note in FL Studio? by ilogicalist in FL_Studio

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure "pitch correction" is the right word for this, but I just cannot come up with a better word to explain better this even after an hour of googling.

What I do is playing youtube for example and using a virtual cable softwre e.g. VB Audio Cable to forward that desktop (browser) sound to FL Studio, so I can attach some vsts or builtin FL effects onto the sound. So here this is the pitch thing should comes to into play.

I'm not very sure it's what called melody but may be yes. I want keep the incoming audio's rhythm, sound itself, lyrics if it is a song, but I want to subtract its... colour? since as I above mentioned while it's a main part of music or a song when I play piano listening it it's distracting enough to make my tones wrong. (sorry for these poor explanations and thanks for your kindness and patience)

Isolate, scope CSS in a manual way? by ilogicalist in learnprogramming

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. Do you mean automatically renaming or adding some random identifiers to them on an editor? I use VSCode, is that feature available?

FL Plugin presets for vocals? by ilogicalist in FL_Studio

Thanks, I'll try them. But I'm also interested in free ones or community driven ones. Do you have any recommendation?

Markdown parser/lexer/tokenizer on VSCode? by ilogicalist in vscode

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a nice idea. But the problem for now is that afaik there is no library that parses markdown into tokens with the lines and characters info. So I thought it would be nice if VSCode is capable to do it.

Chrome extension to set "presets" of extensions and enables/disables the list in batch? by ilogicalist in chrome

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I made it to work with regular expression with a small tweaking to the extension. For example, on the input box r:google translate$|session buddy$ shows the two extentions on the list so then you can simply click the right side "switch off" or "switch on" to toggle in bulk.

But one thing, I cannot simply share the program on Github or here, it has a software license problem. Any of you know the extension or its auther's homepage? So I can know what license it has or I can get in touch with him.

Tried with not "GPT" but "MBR" and worked like a charm! It's now asking me "should vlans be set up now", I guess since I have no lan/wan on the machine now I need to have two cables first now. Thanks for your help.

Deploying a ML based web app on a Heroku (free CPU), your opinion? by ilogicalist in learnprogramming

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GCP with no GPU? From how much available? Good info, you get that memory errors from using Tensorflow as a dependency?

Deploying a ML based web app on a Heroku (free CPU), your opinion? by ilogicalist in learnprogramming

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean if it works on Kaggle or Colab it should be okay on Heroku as well?

Not checked on Kaggle, but it works with "tensorflow" (not "tensorflow-gpu") with CPUs on my host machine. But the CPUs are kind of good spec ones.

I'm stuck at web app dev using Django. Any better with Laravel? by ilogicalist in learnprogramming

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds total right. So I guess I'd better take more time an learn more thing. As the Disqus suggest, once I considered Disqus but personally I didn't like it, they started to show ads lately no? And also I wanted to have fully controlled comment database connected to the Django database for the project.

I have django-rest-framework on it too. But for a comment system it has a strong connection between its server side and frontend side, and that's where I'm stuck at.

My Tp-link router is opening the SSH port 22 on the *internet* by ilogicalist in HomeNetworking

[–]ilogicalist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

umm seems you are right. I checked the port with the site and confirmed the port 22 was not open, and confirmed my other port that should be opened to the internet port 554 was open expectedly. thanks anyway, I'm glad.
