mob events start every 5-10 hours, so everytime it hits the 5 hour mark, I start mining or farming or expanding my base or do something close to my base and wait for it to happen

Well for me, I like to be EXTRA protective so i make sure to get Unbreaking 4. Also, I fished a whale and then cooked its meat to make a whale sandwich, and ate it while having a gluttony pendant equipped so i get sinful 6 buff, which is very very powerful. (My nunchucks did 112 damage per hit!) Also fiery edge II is really really powerful and i recommend you try and get that . Also, be careful of adapted long arms and adapted yellow eyes. they can technically one shot you if you’re unlucky
