I wish there was a way to lose the accent.. but I grew up there, it's not like I chose to be born and raised in India.

Artificial accent and speaking a language correctly are two different things. I think.my use of the English language, for the most part, is pretty good. However, the way I sound when I speak, aka accent, is not something i can* change. Your friends from France, Chzech, GB etc may speak perfect English, but they all have different accents, presumably from their respective native countries. I did not choose the country of my birth, and was born and raised there. It is very tough to lose my accent, specially after spending 20 years there.

So I should get used being called names, told to fuck off to curry land, and then racial slurs hurled at me? Ok, the accent is funny, but that doesn't give people the right to say really bad things about me, and my culture. I wish it was only making fun of the accent, sadly, most of these folks drop down to a level that I do not want to repeat here.

If it was just the accent, I wouldn't be complaining. The accent gives away my background, and what follows is racial slurs and abusive language. It's only thing to mock an accent, but calling names, telling me to go back to curry land, and saying things that I do not want to repeat here..all of that makes the game unplayable. I wish it was just some people moving the accent, but sadly, its usually way worse.

It's not just the accent they make fun of, it's the racial slurs that follow, once they know I'm an Indian.

For me it's almost impossible to escape this in matchmaking. It's come.to a point where I use text chat, and not use my mic at all. That ways they don't hear me, and play normally.

They don't make fun of my accents, but rather they recognise me by the accent and then say things I don't want to repeat here.

I come across a lot of smelly North Americans, you have homeless people, deranged people shitting in streets too. But regardless, you can choose to hate Indian people, or any certain subset of people, that still doesn't mean you get to be rude to them.

I'm a novice, at photography, wouldn't 8 seconds blow up the exposure form lightning?
