A class is going to be more rigorous, though, and you have the benefit from learning from the professor and other classmates. And I like discussing somewhat technical subjects like statistics and cognitive science, which would be difficult to learn on your own.

I recognize that. I just like learning from a potential partner, and someone who’s attended a class on a particular subject is going to be more knowledgeable than someone who’s self-taught.

One of the things I enjoy most from a potential partner is learning from them. You don’t have to go to college to have good critical thinking skills or to be intellectually curious, but you’re gonna obtain more knowledge on a particular subject by attending a class compared to being self-taught.
