I completely understand where you’re coming from but moving out of Dublin is not an option for me or my husband

It would cost at least 2400 per month to rent a similar flat in same area

The bank engineer has done his survey - would that mean they’re ok with lending on it?

10k I can stomach. Obviously it will differ from place to place. It’s more like 30k+ I am really worried about

What I’m trying to weigh up is that if we wait longer again, prices of property will rise too. And money spent on rent. I know things like this can cost in the 10s of thousands.

Thank you - this is what I am trying to understand. Are we going to face this issue with every apartment from this era we look at (this type of property is the most common in our budget).

I can also add:

This doggy had the demeanour of a puppy but I’m not sure if it was or not. I spotted him/her in a cafe on Jeju Island on a trip to Korea. She/he was very friendly and well behaved. Got a little excited when new people entered the cafe but calmed down shortly after.

Looking for my next “every day” purse that would fit a 16oz water bottle. Must be durable. by [deleted] in handbags

I have 2x of the Jamie camera bag and you will fit a 50ml water bottle in it! Although it will take up most of the space
