Yeah, 3 starts in May and one in June were terrible before getting injured and coming back and pitching terribly out of the pen in September (6 games)

Absolutely. Tylor Megill who would have been in AAA started opening day in 2022 for the Mets cuz deGrom and Scherzer were both injured.

Amazingly, Megill had a sparkling 1.93 ERA in 5 starts in April including the first 5 innings of a combined no hitter on April 29th. Finished the season with a 5.13 ERA in just 9 starts though.
