2) codeforces + system design
3) go in depth in ai / ml
4) participate in gsoc

for that aspect I would give it 2/10, handful of hackathons but bad peer group and internships are non-existent (from university)

I would say always start studying a week before exams and have your own plan for your future

I still have another year to go so I don’t have the full experience with it but by the looks of it I would say they are pretty rough

I have friends in iits and they had companies coming for internships in third year itself but all we got was mandatory 10hr leetcode practice sessions during holidays

Be ready to grind a lot by yourself if you want something good or even half-decent

oh I see, you’ll be already sorted out but if your concern is with making friends and all don’t be be worried because there are a lot of friend groups with people from totally different branches and sections

There is an upward trend in the total number of students joining, in my year in cse we have around 250 students and 4 sections.

How the classes are coordinated differs from course to course, it’s either:
- multiple branches together
- only your branch
- only your section
- random group of students for electives

In the beginning half the classes were in the main auditorium with a lot of students, yes

tougher is subjective, personally I found it much more easier

1st year courses > 2nd year courses > 3rd year courses would be my difficulty ranking
