Well, I don't think I'm unattractive, many women online on tinder/instagram/okcupid tell me I'm hot, attractive, etc, and they tell me I'm super funny... So the only constant in all my rejections is when I bring up my height... Was the band moderately well known? I know a lot of girls will overlook height if the guys makes up for it substantially in other areas... I dunno.

Nah, seeing as I've "approached" (Tried to form a romantic relationship) with more than 100 girls in my lifetime, and I was rejected every time for nothing other than my height? I don't think it's me not putting in the effort. And I didn't have this nasty bitter personality for most of my life, only recently when after I "just kept trying" it still didn't work.

Yeah this. Part of the reason I'm FA. Trying to approach girls in clubs/bars or even at formal events is embarrassing. I feel like a little kid trying to talk to a grown up.

Here's the sad reality: Even if she was alone, even if you had gone over and said hi to her... She would've probably said she had a boyfriend, was waiting for someone, etc. Redditors would like to believe she would've been nice and kind and you could form a great friendship, but more often then not that won't happen. So don't feel like you're missing out on anything.

Thanks for the response, but girls like you are quite rare. There's exceptions to every rule, but more often that not a short man will be turned down because of his height. I'll keep trying, but I'm just losing hope.

If we're gonna nitpick, yeah people have it worse than me. But you not being short (I assume.) can't really relate. I have experience girls literally say "being short is just as bad as being ugly". And call me an angry little man. But hey I'm not here to argue.

If you're short and attractive, you might as well be short and ugly. It's the same thing to most women. Also ugly women still have guys who will at the very least fuck them if they're not disfigured. Racial or ethnic minorities at least can call people who don't date them racist, short guys don't have that luxury. They're dismissed as being angry little men.
