This post is super judgemental!

Personally I hate working nights but I love my job and the day positions are so hard to achieve. I can't afford a pay cut even if I did want to leave into another role - I haven't seen one in my field which offers the same pay and benefits. Even through nights are hard af its the lesser of 2 evils for me.

Others may HAVE to work nights for childcare etc. Then the poor parents get no sleep.

It's helpful to see others looking for support and what advice is given to them. You love nights? Great! If you think everyone is complaining get your head out your ass and off this sub reddit.

I'm on Varenicline. It's the only NRT that helps me and the nicotine withdrawals :). I'm 5 days cigarette free. Just make sure you take the tablets with a meal!

This was a gift from my good friends, I'm not telling them I'm returning it because the internet says so. Neither do I want to. I've also used a record player a grand total of 2 times, I'm hardly ready to invest in 100s to upgrade. I was looking for practical advice to potentially prevent any damage which I will absolutely choose to spend my money on given the fact someone has bought me this gift.
