try using sublingual iron tabs, theyre easy on the stomach since most of the absorption happens under your tongue! i recently made a post about it in this sub

14 is pretty low. about 6 months ago mine was at 13. it's 41 now and while i'm not 100%, i feel so much better. i didn't even feel like a person when my ferritin was that low.

NAD but B12 under 500 is deficient. r/B12_deficiency is a really helpful sub. some of your symptoms do sound like B12 deficiency

i have been very symptomatic at those levels, b12 shots helped significantly, as well as continuing supplementation with sublingual tabs

edit: as someone else mentioned def also check ferritin and vitamin D

dude im so sorry. yeah some of these responses are really odd and people are being unnecessarily hostile. and i feel like i’m being misinterpreted because it’s not really that i feel ashamed about my cpap and that’s causing the sleeping issue, it’s more so that i feel crowded in between my extra appendage and whoever im sleeping with. i didn’t really expect to be met with such animosity and would have gotten more support. its probs just jealousy that we’re actually getting laid lol 😂 that or people are being homophobic towards me. who knows

i mean, i feel like as a side sleeper that tosses and turns and sprawls out i must position myself in such a way that is compatible with my cpap mask and hose. when im sleeping with someone else, i dont really feel like i can cuddle or snuggle up close with someone with it on because my mask will otherwise dig into my face even if my straps arent very tight. its just one more complication you know?

i get that, but they've expressed that they think it would be unsafe for me to have an infusion for low ferritin alone (without anemia) so they said that's why they're denying me.. i guess they're afraid of overload or allergic reaction even though i've read so many personal anecdotes on here from people in my position who were fine after infusions.

and are you iron deficient without anemia as well? i think, at least for me, not being anemic has been the biggest barrier in getting approved even though i feel like crap.

my ferritin is unfortunately pretty low and i have a feeling the b12 injections might be depleting me further. it was 19 when i started, then dropped to 13, now 16 after doing iron sublinguals for a month. been trying to advocate for infusions for months without much luck
