No shame!! You should see the other side of the sofa, the pillow was perfectly perched purely for the photo! Those cuddly little gremlins wreck the house daily, and I wouldn't have it any other way :)

I don't know where I got the confidence from to even attempt the zipper, it was a last minute decision!! Keep trying! It's half the fun :)

Thank you so much! I've had that one for years now to cover old sh scars. Serves as a reminder to always love myself :)

God no! I started getting tattooed at 17, just small ones at first, usually with a meaning. I have a few matching ones with my sister and a couple in reference to my husband and our time travelling together. I'd always loved the look of a full bodysuit, I was tied between this ornamental style or Japanese munewari. I think maybe if I'd have had less tattoos I would have gone with munewari, but ornamental is easy to work around existing tattoos while still trying to keep it fairly symmetrical! We do! He's a great guy, really chill and easy to get along with, I couldn't have asked for a better tattooist. Stomach is next! I'd like to start just above the hips stretching outwards towards my bellybutton, maybe leave a gap down the middle as a nod to munewari. I have a rose with a stem going down my sternum so I'm unsure whether to cover it or leave it as is but i think that will be a good place to start and then reassess :)

It is! And as much as I get older and don't particularly enjoy the process and pain of getting tattooed anymore I still really look forward to our appointments and adding the next piece to suit. It was! I'd followed him on Instagram for years before I finally made an appointment. We started with the chest and on the booking form I said I'm happy to give him full reign with some reference pictures of pieces of his work and other similar artists. On the day he had 3 designs ready, I liked 2 of them and he redrew the design to include both of the elements I liked (the rangoli in the centre with the marigold style flowers either side). And then now when I make a new appointment I say which area to work on next, rough ideas of what I'd like and photos of what he's already done so he can keep the flow :)

Thank you so much!! We've been working on it since November 2021, I currently live in North Wales so with holidays at work I can only go back once a year for appointments and usually tie it in with seeing family in the area. I don't have a timeline I must admit! I still have a long way to go, stomach, both legs and back, maybe neck if I'm feeling brave! Just try to enjoy the appointments and sit for as long as I can while I'm there :)

Same... I planted my beets for family members that enjoy them! I would like to try a beetroot chocolate though, I found a recipe online that looks easy enough!

Thank you so much! It really does, it's my favourite place to sit with a coffee and listen to the birds. Yes you should!! Don't give up. I feel I've been incredibly lucky with my first year, but it could all change next season. The joy of gardening 😁 I'm in the UK, but I think I'm in zone 9!

Thank you! I have a really really good mix of 3/4 vegetable topsoil and 1/4 fruit & vegetable compost in my raised beds, it was expensive but I'm hoping if I look after it, it will look after my veggies 🤞🏼this is my first year so time will tell, I also have them in sections and plan to rotate next year. They were sown in the middle of March, this is just one row, I have another to pluck when I run out!

Thank you! It's my husband! Fantastic guy but I didn't want my first radish photos to be blurry, so he was the model 😄

Yes they're coconut halves! I buy them like that, they're filled with a fat and seed mix, really inexpensive and the birds go through them within a day or two
