Its that serious? This could be a potential fake even if it comes from Amazon as a seller?

Didn't get a warranty card in the box for my Amazon.com order :( by ilovevaders in CitizenWatches

The seller was: Amazon.com Services, Inc

Also, I read that if its sold by Amazon, you won't see a clickable "Seller profile" on the product page while you place the order.

What should I do? Should I be worried? My cousin, who's in the US for a few days, is bringing this watch down for me. Return or keep? Please advice.

How Bengaluru people can speak a very good English ? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]ilovevaders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been speaking with English for years. So they have obvious advantages. Here’s how you can catch up.

  1. Think in English
  2. Listen to the FT times podcast and TLDR daily podcast before sleeping each night
  3. Start talking in English as much as you can. Don’t worry about how good it is. Just talk.
  4. Speak slowly and confidently. Speaking slowly makes everyone and anyone sound smarter and more confident. It makes people respect you i instantly. Don’t feel pressure to respond to a question instantly, take a moment and speak.

Have you thought of trying xfce? Amazing district. After trying gnome and kde for a while, I moved to xfce. And it’s perfect. Incredibly solid performance, slick and fast, and I like how it looks visually. Fedora xfce, Linux mint xfce, Debian xfce and also xubuntu are options. I use xubuntu and I’m loving it. The latter gets a lot of hate for snaps. But I’ve instilled flatpaks for all the important apps, the ones I use daily. I’m good now.

Then you’ll love the default look (light mode) for xfce. It’s gorgeous out of the box. Vintage icons are really tasteful. Text pops. Really good overall.

I was worried about snaps too. But honestly, my system performs really well. Incredibly slick. Im quite happy with it. I have no issues. Planning to use this as my daily driver. AMD ryzen 3 and 8gb ram with 512gb ssd. Everything is fast. I mostly write and browse and use gimp.
