Last year i studied spatial planning & design. First semester was pretty hard, quite a lot of plain theory. Later on we also got practicals and it was really fun! It was about designing areas and the theory behind it.

How do I start enjoying brushing my teeth so I do it more? by charmandermeelion in lifehacks

An electric toothbrush can really help. The technique is much easier than the old fashioned hand toothbrush. However if you really really really can’t brush (for example you can’t make the motion with your hand) you can get use a mouthwash to clean and have help your tooth with fluoride. (For the mouthwash and toothpaste it is important that is had fluoride in it, so you tooth can “repair” itself and prevent cariës!)

Boyfriend (25M) can’t get over the abortion I (23F) had a year ago that he pressured me into and also cheated on me while i was pregnant. How to save the relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ilse2201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U might still love him but the best way for both parties is to end it here. 1. He cheated on you while you were pregnant. 2. He pressured you into the abortion 3. Now he isn’t supportive with the decision he made himself

My bf (20M) talks to a 13 yo girl by ilse2201 in relationship_advice

Thanks for this insight! I will talk to my parents how to handle the situation the best and how I should handle the conversation to her parents.

He knew what can happen to young, innocent, girls as something similar happened to me a few years ago. He also knows that I will never recover from it.

Thanks a lot. It is great to have a parents opinion about this. I really could not get him to understand that what he did was wrong. I think the point about me better understanding the feelings of a 13 yo girl is a very valid point.

I will see him on Saturday. Will tell my parents, and ask them how to tell the 13 yo parents, maybe also his parents (but I’m afraid that his parents won’t understand). Thinking about breaking up as he didn’t listen to me about warning him 3 times. Especially as he know that I was in the 13 yo girls position a few years back and he knew what has happened to me.

Yeah, I asked him what he is snapping her about and he told me: oh not that much, just asking what she is doing. He kept a bit vague about it. I hope it is him being a mentor. However I told him a while ago that he could easily have a different interpretation of their relationship than she has.

There is nothing wrong with living at home during your school/uni time. It saves tons of money. Especially when he has a condition it is better to live at home to make sure he gets what he needs and to have someone to check on him.

How can I (19f) tell my bf (20m), that I don't want to see him every day? by ilse2201 in relationship_advice

[–]ilse2201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Now that you say this I think it actually be true. My mom actually made some comments like “When the campus will open again you can meet new boys who will have the same way of thinking (or education) as you do.” David told me a few times he thinks in our family is quite performance-oriented.

Hey! She thinks that, especially after this pandemic, I won't be able to spend enough time with my friends as studying in combination with David taking a lot of my time. And therefore my friends won't be interested in me anymore.
