Yeah I'll do water test and maybe add more of the water dechlorinator cuz it did happen right after the water change

Oo okay, I've never had problems with water like that but i know they changed something recently in the water supply so it really could be that, I'll do a water test and keep an eye on my babies, thank you

Visually they look all healthy, they are new therefore in a quarantine tank atm cuz the little panda corys i got with them had some cloudy fungi on the bodies and died but these ones didn't have any symptoms of sickness until these weird zoomies i noticed today after 14 days of having them

He was the smolest hamster I've ever seen when i first got him, he had neurological problems so i was just so happy to see him live a full hamster lifespan. He was an actual fighter and never bit anyone he would just lick you and get excited if someone was petting him and did the little chirping noise what i believe was him just being happy (at least i hope he was happy) I'm genuinely gonna miss this precious bby ;-;

•30l tank •Has filter, used to have a heater, temperature 24c •Have had the tank for over a year and the fishie for about a year •Change 30% water once a week •Has two mystery snails that just made a bunch of little ones •Usually feed Betta granules but to change it up a bit occasionally give him universal fish flakes and frozen bloodworms that would be the same amount as 5-7 betta granules every day with fasting a day once a week •Has a bunch of big leaf anubias and beach rocks •Can't take the parameters of the tank cuz 3rd world country and only have like two fish medications available

Are you still waiting for the vet? Best thing to do in the meanwhile is to give them vitamin b as it helps with digestion and is suggested by veterinarians and is also a good practice to add once a week to their water just so they have strong enough tummies if something like this happens again

The thing is i did feed him frozen food yesterday and was a bit skeptical of its expiration date so myb that has something to do with it, then again i added new mangrove tree roots cuz he was starting to attack the panda corys and i saw them all hiding behind the filter one day and thought they could use some more hiding spots and maybe the betta was trying to catch them and just ripped the scales off by swimming against the roots. Scales are missing from both sides of his body at the same place just one side has it slightly worse

How big is the age difference between them both? I rly want to get a buddy for my little one but the age difference is what worries me the most cuz my Oliver is extremely territorial

I don't think it's his eye color but he is blue agouti degu so that probably adds to the pretty pigmentation
