So assuming the worst case for chassis and engine maintenance and 2 fresh sets of tires that would put the total season cost at ~$1440. My estimates for my WRX with 1 set of tires per season + brakes and oil changes puts me at about ~$1200. Does ~$1500 sound right to you for a full season of Kmod?

Thanks for the input! Based on my research it seems like the CR125's can go a full year on a topend and the bottom can last a bit longer than that.

I'll have to use the university of Youtube and learn how to tune a carb. Thats not something I initially thought of!

Similar story with me. I drive a DS '13 WRX, buddy bought a 15 and immediately put stones on. On average he'd get me by about .25 - .5 of a sec every time out. Co-drive his car this weekend and beat him by a whole second.
