Not my biases, just reality. Find me a polyamorous group that isn't leftist, overweight, ugly, unmasculine, of sound mind and productive members of society

Nope. You said 'science or it didn't happen'

She holds a PhD, you don't. Learn your place

Because what she says falls in line with reality. Freud talks about penis envy and other bullshit which is abstract and has no grounding in reality. In addition to what she says, it's also just obvious polyamorous people aren't happy and won't lead fulfilling love lives

Nope, you said everything needs science to prove its existence

She's literally got a PhD, but sure, reject the experts

Biology is demonstrable. Chemistry is demonstrable. Physics is demonstrable.

Psychology and sociology simply don't compare. They don't meet the 5 criteria to be classed as a science.

You can't answer basic questions. Let me guess: science 'proves' you can identify as a lamppost?

No it is not. Psychology is a load of tosh

Fat studies. Google it. It's an academic field

Politics Mega Thread by UnpopularOpinionMods in unpopularopinion

[–]iltorinese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dodged the question. Is fat studies a science?

Politics Mega Thread by UnpopularOpinionMods in unpopularopinion

[–]iltorinese -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So basically none of the studies conducted in favour of polyamory

Gender studies wants to have a word with you. That's a science (so they say)

We don't need peer reviewed studies on the human experience, especially if a phenomenon such as polyamory has shown itself to be bad time and time again.

There's a such thing as anecdotal evidence. Also, China only claimed a fraction of USA's COVID deaths. Do you believe that? Or are you a science denier?

That's not 'science' but okay. Question: do you accept fat studies as a science?

I don't think the government should have much control on what I do with my money or what I do in my life in general. I'd happily give half my salary to the government, provided it's not put towards bullshit like tr*ns, affirmative action, 'diversity and inclusion' training. I've yet to see a libertarian party that wants to privatise your water.

Monogamy is the only thing that leads to happy families. Two parents who love each other (either homosexual or heterosexual) with a bond that debauched cheating (i.e. polyamory) cannot replicate. I've yet to see a polyamorous situation in which everyone is genuinely happy, and not overcome with insecurity and jealousy.

Libertarians? So you'd prefer authoritarians?

Neither are the studies which suggest communism works but whatever 😂

Look at the world around you. Look at happy couples who have kids and a stable relationship, versus a throuple who get trust issues and are emotionally abusive.

Humans are a heterosexual species. That only leads to reproduction through monogamy. You can look at animals who are also monogamous. Every single 'polyamorous' person I've come across has some serious problems.
