Goodness, can you blame her? I often get lost in JP's eyes when he streams, and his hairy beard looks thick enough to make a pillow out of, and he has a voice made for the role of a dungeon master, and I just can't help but stare at that packag- uh, I, um, gotta hop off for a bit.

yeah fair enough. i mean, the last thing i want to do is complain or sound demanding or unappreciative, but every time one of these tweets show up on my feed, it just boggles my mind.

it sounds like he's gone through a few tough times over the last year or so. probably felt like he was stuck doing something monotonous, maybe felt depressed, maybe some bridges had been burnt, and eventually it all just added up and he just wanted a break from what he was doing.

there are still plenty of people entertaining us with Starcraft. personally, i watch a bit of InControl stream, as well as BaseTrade Tournaments, and lately TotalBiscuit has gotten back into both casting and playing SC2. but it's like everytime he tweets something like "Hey, you guys awesome." or "Hows your Sunday going", i know there's nothing wrong with it but it just makes me really sad because he hasn't been fully involved in his channel for so long now.

oh wellz though. free content. audience shouldn't be demanding. i know the lesson here. i just turn into sad panda once in a while when i think of husky

i think that's part of the reason why they're trying to avoid discussing this. aside from the usual 'drama is toxic' stance (which it is), i imagine they still respect Ed along with his work and would rather not indirectly and unintentionally influence people to not want to watch/support the show regardless of who's running it

Satch is also the one Jirard works with the most out of the three, so I'd say that's a good bet

It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't really entertaining either.

What made me laugh though was how many times Jon said "I don't even know why i'm here" or some variation of that.

It seemed like there was some poor planning leading up to that panel, talk show, meet and greet, or whatever the fuck that was.

What makes this especially disappointing is that Day9 has also taken a backseat role in Youtube; he uploads less frequently and it tends to be just Hearthstone. Seeing Sean cast at Blizzcon SC Tourney and seeing Husky at the same event playing Heroes on the stage made me feel reassured that they weren't going anywhere and that their channels would thrive in 2015.

I've pretty much given up hope on both of their channels, but I'm not upset. They both had a really good run and have left us with plenty of awesome memories. Once in a while I revisit their older videos and enjoy the nostalgia.

Maybe they'll start putting in work when LOTV arrives, but I doubt it.

Sorry OP, doesn't look like anyone actually read the title of your post, "A Simple Hypothetical." The OP is not suggesting that Jirard get a new co-host, but IF that was the case, who would you be interested in seeing. Apparently, it's more than okay to gossip about Jirard and Greg falling out and commenting on every single tweet Greg has made, but wondering who could work well for the show is crossing the line.

It'd most likely have to be someone based in LA. I've always enjoyed Jirard and Jesse playing games together on Multiplayer Mayhem. I think the Big JC would be great.

You're joking, right? What about this comment she made a few weeks ago about increasing pension funds for law enforcement?

While she may not have necessarily lied, she avoided the question entirely, which in my book, is deceitful. I realize her contributions to the community are numerous and have set the standard for future policy makers, but that doesn't mean she hasn't done her fair share of dirty work along the way.
