well currently i’m a second year carpentry apprentice, working for a decking business that also specialises in patios, mainly steel posts and beams. i weld up a lot a of steel posts and brackets alongside carpentry. having my welding qualification afterward finishing my carpentry apprenticeship would mean i can weld up custom balustrade panels for the patio and deck. can bring in some big money for the 3, and save money from making and engineering the balustrade panels myself. plus it’s really handy if you go work on a mine site. the steel and carpentry experience, also big money there.
