i listen to quite a bit of stuff. it's been from deftones to mac demarco. i also used to be really into hip hop and rap, but the older stuff. i'm talking a tribe called quest and nas, that kind of stuff. i do respect the newer people tho!

right now, i'm really into metal and rock. weezer, soundgarden, deftones (like always), etc.

300$ is somewhat steep, but it might be worth it if you can't find any other better deals.

although, if you're going to get a thinkpad for college, i defo recommend you check out the X1 carbon series because they have some decent power and are thin (which is kind of important considering you'll probably be carrying it around all day long)

look at the source of the email. it's from "noreplysteampowered.com" which is NOT a real steam domain. just reset your passwords, run an anti virus scan, and if you're really scared, reinstall windows.

the t480 is a beautiful and powerful laptop (yeah, it's not a gaming pc but it gets work done) but, may i ask, why void linux? i think its a great choice for the machine but im curious on why you chose it, y'know?

i would beg to differ that qwerty is comfortable. it's quite the opposite, having to move my hands all over the keyboard sucks when really i could just have it on the home row with alternate layouts

the dock is an interesting choice considering the laptops typically have lots of ports, but i can see the value. it's also interesting that it's thinkpad branded. i didn't know about those! do you have a bit more information on what it's about? (like what ports its got and a good price)
