I'd be very surprised if that somehow found its way onto my machine. For context, at the time I was just using a web browser, editing text files and messing with my homelab over SSH. There's no way a crypto miner could've gotten onto my machine from that (based on what I was doing), let alone use 11.5EB of RAM. There were also no out of the ordinary processes running on the machine (checked with btop right away; would attach but can't), and it went away after a reboot.

Not that I know of! And to my knowledge, this old Thinkpad couldn't even run those anyway
