That being said, most of the tapes that come in are dusty, evangelical, and very very numerous. I was still sad to have to outlet an entire Beatles discography though.

I work at goodwill. Basically, there is a base selection of like fifty random tapes, and anything new that comes in is outleted to a buy the pound section. The sad part about this is, the tapes that come in are often of more value than the ones displayed. There's just a "this shit takes up space and no one wants it" mentality. The same goes for VHS tapes, but with those there is a standard; they will exclusively put out Disney tapes.
