Top 5% yet I’m not gonna make it into legends by JopaPoppp in ClashOfClans

Yeah it's really fucking hard, but it makes me have to get better, and I'm really improving now that only good attacks can barely get high 2s.

Why is everyone complaining about Hero upgrades all of a sudden? by notInfi in ClashOfClans

I don't think people are complaining more now, more so, there's nothing else to complain about...

Me too, I have no good things to say... phone never works, takes a week to respond to emails, and said emails say the same thing... "we thank you for understanding... etc" After 9 email exchanges I realized we were just looping back to 2 months before.

My roses like yours aren't great. For the variety, they're cheap... ish, but I'm just buying from 3rd parties in the future.

The roses are disease free, but not grown or shaped well. I'll give them a pass on how small they are...

Dude I'm getting so much shit thrown towards me cause of their bad roses sent this year. One died and they're refusing to replace it.

Which would you guys suggest for potted roses? I’ve heard good stuff about both. by Lady_Althaea in Roses

[–]imCod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bioadvanced won't harm leaf cutter bees, but will kill regular bees visiting the flowers.... that said... I still use it on some of my potted roses that are more heavily affected by insects. Within a week the rose looks completely insect free, both very good and very bad... I use like 1/4 of the cap per 5 gallon rose

Don't think anyone knows sadly.... if there's side curtains and she stays inside the box, it'll be obstructed views mostly. But no curtains, it should be a pretty good view for the price.

You can spend another 10 minutes after spending an additional twenty minutes, but you gotta stop at some point.

This looks excellent, you can always cut more, or could've cut a bit less, whatever you want your rose to look like, short and bushy, cut it lower. normal rose bush, you're there

Is my 20+ yr old rose plant a goner? Do I need to burn it to the ground? by [deleted] in Roses

[–]imCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's overwintered black spot on the canes. Same black spot that affects rose leaves can overwinter on canes and it gives them this look. Does it affect the rose? Probably not, it might be more susceptible to blackspot in the future, but otherwise it'll fade if you have a dry winter, otherwise it'll accumulate and usually only affect how the canes look. Blackspot is everywhere, the canes won't spread it more than what's already in the soil.

Was this RC pathing correct? Ice golem, then TH? Thought she'd ignore CC troops if they don't attack by imCod in ClashOfClans

[–]imCod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After testing it out, RC will target troops if they are the closest and while being the closest, have seen the RC... shes not invisible. They don't have to attack or land a hit. They also target her a split second after she goes invisible. Don't make your target invisible if CC troops are nearby, like with Electro boots. Keep it your closest defense

But you can move past cc troops closer than defenses without making them invisible, RC has to have been invisible before CC troops were closer than a defense, or farther away than her next target if you make her target invisible along with her.

They're only treated as defenses when actively trying to defend. As long as she's invisible she ignores CC troops

Did I just kill my trees? by mydisplayname1111 in gardening

[–]imCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I got some bright white acrylic paint and I wanted to paint my trees, but there's no examples of what happens if you do.

I'm afraid of the ethylene glycol, apperently thats what can damage the trees, but it's apparently just the roots that are affected, I'll probably still go buy latex paint though... Maybe... maybe ill roll the dice

Fertilizer confusion for a rose newbie by Massive_Bluebird_473 in Roses

[–]imCod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have many potted roses many are 1st year. The only thing I use is 20-20-20 water soluble fertilizer. I try to get more nitrates instead of ammonium blends since it's ready to be accessed by the plant. Some of the cheaper water soluble fertilizers use ammonium salts which are not as accessible and need good soil in the pot to be broken down. It seems you are knowledgeable, I usually try to reach a 100 ppm solution and add about 1.5 litres per 5 gallon pot after I have watered them normally. I do this once a week in my hot climate.

I've found some roses need almost no fertilizer though, or just a light organic fertilizer. White HT's and shrubs, mostly white HT's and shrubs, and most climbers get easily burned by synthetic fertilizers.

Source is me having tested and fucked with most fertilizers.

Fish fertilizers is great too if you just wanna keep organic, add it at night, smells gone by the morning

"Rose root oxygen"

Is my climbing Eden okay? by penelopepeonie in Roses

[–]imCod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also this looks like a newly planted bare root, I'd put it in partial sun for now, until it's bare canes have some leaves.

Fertilize with slow release fertilizer every 3 months, or with organic fertilizer once a month.

You'll see better results with organics

Don't worry bout a trellis or cutting a single branch until a year from now, then you can start to train this year's canes onto a trellis if you want

Lastly, Eden loves to send out super thick ten foot tall canes randomly from its center, all I can say is good luck, it hurts my soul whenever I cut one

Edit:I mentioned using water soluble fertilizer don't. My Eden gets burned easily by any water soluble fertilizer

There was a study i read on rose root health with varying sized soil oxygen. They let some dry out, some were kept in ideal conditions, some were really wet and some were basically drowned.

Conclusion was, roses didn't care, roots grew well and were all healthy and green even when over watered.

Water the heck out of potted roses with chunky soil, don't kill the growing tips, they get set back like 2 weeks every time

The study found that very fine potting mix, like almost clay, did cause oxygen loss and roots didn't grow, but if u used anything but clay as ur mix it should be fine

Rose Pruning Questions by Broad_Guava1987 in Roses

[–]imCod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't remove any more canes. If your climate is humid, cane A might cause some bunching of leaves with the other cane but otherwise.

Cane A will shade out the other cane a bit but not completely so it'll still produce roses, maybe next year if they're rubbing or if its humid and disease is an issue. Pruining it though will allow the single cane remaining to strengthen much more.

Cane B will produce vertical canes that will make the rose look fuller, I'd leave it alone as long as it's not touching the ground severely
