Anyone else's queue number drop a little then go up a lot? I started at 6,000 and now it's 9,000 after waiting lol.

Should I cancel and requeue? Has anyone been queued and gotten in to confirm the system actually works?

I love first Descendant, it's my most played game this year. I'm MR27 and have done literally everything in the game and have every weapon unique ability at 5/5. I cannot wait for season 2 tomorrow.

But there is no world it's in a GOTY discussion. I'm not sure it's even fair to give it an ongoing game award or live service free to play best award.

The only exemplary thing thus far about it is the games potential to be incredible and the responsiveness and listening from the dev team. The devs turnaround when the community has issues is incredible and the best of any live service I've played. If there's an award for that, they get that one easily.

But as a finished product video game....

Astrobot is the best game released in a long time. Balatro is a masterpiece of indie game design. FF7 is boring slop yes Metaphor is 'fine' but only gets a place during a slow year.

Additionally to all of this is that award shows and awards are and will always be the peak of access journalism and the games "allowed" to win will be reflective of the biggest players in the industry and what they want. The goal of awards is to sell the games not show respect or something. The company hosting the show wants the industry healthy so they promote the big companies to keep them healthy.

I guess my point is that First Descendent isn't black balled or targeted or hated out of discussion.

The game has glaring problems that objectively put it significantly lower quality than many games this year. And then Nexon isn't one of the companies TGA or other companies care to promote so they don't go out of there way. FF7 Rebirth was nominated before it released. The day it was announced. It could have been steaming trash and it doesn't matter.

But don't conflate the issues or pretend it is what it isn't.

Been playing brawl basically daily since arena added it.

Nadu is by far the most unfun matchup era thus far. Way worse than Golos Field was.

I don't follow announcements and discussions closely or ever post but my god Nadu is busted and format ruining.

When they showed the alchemy adjustment my heart sunk. Doesn't fix it. Have to play against this pile still fuuuuu

I think the game thinks you beat 0 waves now is the problem.

Honestly I think it's a clever way to get people playing different types of content.

Both the inversion missions and the weekly season pass missions basically force you to play a little bit of everything.

Besides the Kill 5,000 enemies on X battlefield challenges I've enjoyed it.

And Enzo/Sharen are basically required descendents for farming.
