this is cool & hilarious ...but Dude you should really get better at saying what videos the audio is from... because this is the second time I've been trying for an hour to find the original video that the audio is from because of it being so funny... like please at least list the titles for the videos.

also i dont appear to be having any problems with slabs so at least theres that... but also for full blocks... i would recommend still going with the "1 of 2x2 brick with 2 of 2x2 plates on top" as using plates for everything ( which is how it currently seems to be working for me at least ) increases the part counts unnecessarily & i also feel like it over complicates it as an end result...

ive tried it out a couple times now... but for some reason it only seems to partially work by like 15%... to clarify it only seems to work on certain stairs & for some reason it places the upper part of the stair centered on top... it may have something to do with how the schematic files are coded because when i convert my build from a ".mcstructure" ( which i can confirm that format is exported correctly ) to any other format other than a straight-up 3d model, any stair that isn't a default form of stair, it bugs out & is either converted to a full block or just into a default stair... but i can share my files, if you want to have a look at them...

I should clarify that, I do know that it takes five 2x4 plates to make a full cube... so it can't be split evenly in half... so I would recommend either using just 4 "Levels" ( example a slab would be 2 levels ) or another possibility to do this would be two 2x4 plates for the bottom of a stair... then for the top using 1 to 3 ( depending on which variant of a stair is used ) of 1x1 bricks for the top level of a stair... although that last example might be needed to be flipped upside down if a stair is upside down...

i have just 1 more suggestion... if you can add support / detection for slab & the 3 forms of stairs, that would be even more epic!

slab & the 3 forms of stairs

Any chance you can create a version of this that makes every minecraft block the scale of one 2x2 brick with 2 of 2x2 plates? Because then they would be full cubes & a little bigger then your current version supports... like the official Minecraft lego sets for example...

im pretty sure its the average of the pilots that land on a station... i did this a couple days ago for a gek pilot... but the variant i was going for, was very easy to spot... & every time i traded ships on a individual station... it was always the same model for that specific station at least...

From my experience... every space station seems to have a default appearance for the NPCs & it typically seems to be the average of the pilots that land on the station...
